Book Iberostar Resorts with IHG One Rewards
Just over a year ago, InterContinental Hotels (IHG) and Iberostar Hotels & Resorts announced a long‑term agreement that would add up to 70 beachfront resorts and all-inclusive hotels to the One Rewards program.
Then in December 2022, we saw some properties show up on the IHG website, but you would still have to book through Iberostar. And now those same properties and more are finally fully integrated and bookable with IHG points. These properties are located in Brazil, the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Mexico, Montenegro, Morocco and Spain.
IHG One Rewards members can earn and redeem points and enjoy on-property perks at participating Iberostar Beachfront Resorts. On the other hand, the Iberostar Horizons loyalty program has ended. Members who were a part of the Horizons program can join IHG One Rewards to enjoy special recognition, exclusive benefits, and earn points for stays.
IHG One Rewards members can book Reward Nights, Free Nights and Points & Cash stays at participating Iberostar Beachfront Resorts on IHG.com, the IHG One Rewards app or by calling the IHG Customer Care at 1 877 424 2449. You can also use your fourth-night-free reward at Iberostar properties. While there are no blackout dates, Reward Nights and Free Nights are subject to hotel availability.
Value & Benefits
IHG One Rewards on-property benefits will apply to stays at participating Iberostar Beachfront Resorts. The only requirement is to book direct through IHG or Iberostar. When it comes to value, the new additions don’t look super exciting when redeeming One Rewards points. You can probably get a value around 0.3 to 0.4 cents per point. That’s almost what IHG points are valued on average.
