Amex Pulls New Hilton & Virgin Atlantic Transfer Bonuses
American Express appears to have pulled two newly launched Membership Rewards transfer bonuses almost as quickly as they arrived.
Yesterday, Amex introduced a 20% transfer bonus to Hilton Honors and a 30% transfer bonus to Virgin Atlantic Flying Club. However, both promotions have now disappeared from the Membership Rewards transfer page after being available for only about a day.
American Express has not commented on the change, so it’s unclear whether the promotions launched by mistake. Given how quickly they disappeared, they may have been published prematurely and could return at a later date, possibly next month on July 1st.
If you were planning to take advantage of either transfer bonus, it’s worth keeping an eye on the Membership Rewards portal over the coming weeks in case they reappear.
