Amex will also consider how many cards you have opened and closed as well as other factors in making a decision on your welcome offer eligibility. At least you can find out if you qualify for the bonus through their new tool.
Guru’s Wrap-Up
This is a new business product and is very similar to the Hilton Honors American Express Ascend Card. It does have some extra 6X categories, such as flights booked directly with airlines or amextravel.com, car rentals and wireless telephone services. We recently saw a similar offer for 125,000 points with $5,000 spending, but you had to pay the annual fee. With this offer you get 25,000 less points but you also save $95 and have to do $2,000 less in spending. I would say both offers are similar, so you should go for it if you had your eyes on the Amex Hilton Business card.
