Amex Dropping Etihad Guest from List of Transfer Partners
American Express is losing one of its transfer partners.
Starting June 30, 2026, American Express Membership Rewards members will no longer be able to transfer their points to the Etihad Guest program. The news was first reported by TPG.
Etihad Guest was added as a transfer partner almost 10 years ago. We saw some transfer bonuses in the next few years, but there hasn’t been much since then.
American Express Membership Rewards members still have some time to decide if they want to transfer points to Etihad Guest miles at a 1:1 ratio. It’s also worth mentioning that Bilt recently added Etihad Guest as a 1:1 transfer partner, and you can also transfer from Capital One and Citi ThankYou Rewards at 1:1 as well.
