The bonus you earn depends on the amount of points that you transfer to Etihad Guest:

  • Transfer 1000 to 10,000 miles and get 20% Bonus Miles on each transaction.
  • Transfer 10,001 to 50,000 miles and get 30% Bonus Miles on each transaction.
  • Transfer 50,001 miles and above and get 40% Bonus Miles on each transaction.

PROMO PAGE

There are many programs included in this promotion, but the only one that’s interesting for US based customers is Capital One.

Guru’s Wrap-up

Normally you get 1 Etihad Guest Mile for every 1 Capital One miles you transfer. With this transfer bonus, you can get 1,400 Etihad Guest Mile for every 1,000 Capital One miles you transfer.

The American Express Membership Rewards program also has a 20% bonus for points transfers to Etihad Guest. That promotion is applicable for points transfers until Thursday, April 4, 2024.

It’s quite difficult to get any outsized value with Etihad Guest miles, so make sure you familiarize yourself with the program before initiating a transfer. These transfer are not reversible.
