Amex Adding $300 ChatGPT Credit to Business Platinum/Gold Cards
American Express revealed in a press release today that it will soon add a $300 ChatGPT Business Credit on U.S. Business Platinum and Business Gold Cards.
The new credit will launch this spring, “helping Card Members save time and increase productivity”.
ChatGPT Business is a plan that requires a minimum of 2 users. With annual billing it costs $25 per user/month (paid as a lump sum of $300 per user for the year). So the credit would only cover half. If you pay monthly it’s $25 per user/month, so a total of $50 monthly. That may still trigger the credit, but it would only cover six months.
The new credit was previously mentioned in January as part of possible changes to the Business Gold card, which includes an increased $495 annual fee. Other additions include:
- 5X points on flights and prepaid hotels booked through AmexTravel.com
- $240 Notion Credit
- $240 Xero Credit
- $250 LegalZoom Credit
- $100 Resy Credit
