Alaska MileagePlan shopping portal has a great promotion today only, where they’re offering 15x Alaska miles per dollar spend at select retailers.

There’s 12 retailers included in the promo, but probably the one that will be of most interest is Neiman Marcus, which is also part of a current Amex offer. Gift card purchases are excluded in the terms, but they should work as a few data points show. You could make a profit by selling the gift cards and also net lots of Alaska miles. (Use TopCashBack at 8.5% if you prefer cash over miles).
