The new Alaska Lounge at New York JFK Terminal 7 is scheduled to open on April 30th. The lounge had been previously announced but now we have the exact opening date. This is Alaska’s first lounge on the East Coast and it will take over the space formerly occupied by the United Club.
The lounge will be located at the Mezzanine level of Terminal 7, just above security. It will be open Sunday-Friday from 5:00AM to 10:00PM and Saturday from 5:00AM to 5:00PM. It will feature tarmac views, a breakfast selection, snacks and finger food, and a bar with complimentary house drinks.
This will be a welcomed addition to Terminal 7 which doesn’t offer much else. It doesn’t have TSA PreCheck either. The lounge can be accessed by Alaska Lounge members, passengers traveling on a paid First Class or a First Class award ticket (e.g., A, D, F or P class of service) on flights operated by Alaska Airline, and Admirals Club members traveling same day on Alaska or American. Hopefully it is open to Priority Pass members as well.
