Alaska Airlines Platinum Plus Visa Card Will Match Rewards of Visa Signature Card

Alaska Airlines Platinum Plus Visa credit card is issued by Bank of America. It’s not a card you can apply for, but many people have them. Bank of America would approve people for the Alaska Airlines Platinum Plus Visa card instead of the Alaska Airlines Visa Signature card when credit limit issued was less than the required $5,000. And the signup bonus on that card was bad too, only 5,000 miles. There’s not much info on the card, besides that it earns two miles per dollar spend with Alaska and one mile per dollar on all other purchases.

Now there’s some good news for those who get this obscure card instead of the Alaska Airlines Visa Signature card . An Alaska Airlines employee reports seeing the following information on the airlines’ internal website.
