Hilton sent out an email, with an offer for 5,000 Hilton HHonors points for adding an authorized user to the no fee Amex Hilton credit card. To get the bonus, the authorized user must spend $500 of eligible spending by the end of the first 3 months of Card Membership, based on the date of the Additional Card approval.
The offer looks targeted, but you can log in here with your no fee Amex Hilton to see if you’re eligible. The offer for 5,000 Bonus Points expires on 11/30/2016.
Bonus points will appear on the Basic Card Member’s Hilton HHonors Card statement 8-12 weeks after Additional Card Members have reached the spend threshold.
Not a great bonus, since 5,000 Hilton points are worth a bit less than $25, and you have to spend $500 to get it. But it could be useful if you need some extra Hilton points. Few months back they offered 10K with no spend requirement for adding new AU.

The offer for 5,000 Bonus Points expires on 11/30/2016. The Basic Card Member is limited to a one-time receipt of 5,000 Bonus Points through this offer. Additional Card Members must use the additional Hilton HHonors™ Card to complete $500 of eligible spending by the end of the first 3 months of Card Membership, based on the date of the Additional Card approval. Eligible purchases do NOT include fees or interest charges, balance transfers, cash advances, purchases of travelers checks, purchases or reloading of prepaid cards, or purchases of other cash equivalents. In rare instances, the period for the Additional Card Member to spend $500 may be shorter than 3 months if there is a delay in receiving their Additional Card. Also, purchases may fall outside of the 3 month period in some cases, such as a delay in merchants submitting transactions to us or if the purchase date differs from the date they made the transaction. (For example, if they buy goods online, the purchase date may be the date the goods are shipped). For questions regarding your or their Card account, you or the Additional Card Member can call the number on the back of the Card. To be eligible to receive Bonus Points, Basic Card Member’s account must not be cancelled or in default at time of bonus fulfillment. If the application for an Additional Card is not approved by 11/30/2016, you will not be eligible for the 5,000 Bonus Points offer even if the application is approved.
