5,000 Bonus Points with First Transfer from Capital One to JetBlue
Capital One re-added JetBlue as a transfer partner a few days ago. The transfer ratio is bad, at just 5:3 or 1:0.6. So I doubt they saw a huge volume of eligible cardmembers transferring points to the JetBlue TrueBlue program.
But there’s a reason why you should probably connect the accounts and do at least one transfer. You can get a bonus of 5,000 points.
This offer should be available to all eligible cardholders, which includes those with Venture, Venture X, Venture X Business, and Spark Miles cards. In the points transfer page, you will see the following limited time offer:
- Receive a one-time bonus of 5,000 TrueBlue points upon completing your first TrueBlue transfer.
It doesn’t seem to be a minimum requirement to earn this bonus, so you can transfer the minimum of 1,000 Capital One miles. Plus the bonus is instant.
So if you transfer 1,000 Capital One miles, you will receive 5,600 JetBlue TrueBlue points. You should be able to get the bonus once per rewards account. So if you have the Capital One Venture X and Venture X Business for example, you can do it twice.
Also keep in mind that rewards can only be transferred to a Loyalty Program registered to the exact username on the Capital One account. If the account information doesn’t match, the transfer may be delayed.

This is a great promotion even the generally the transfer ratio is terrible. You can just transfer 1,000 miles to get 5,600 JetBlue points.
I would do this right away. There’s no expiration date, so it could end soon.
