30% Transfer Bonus from Amex to British Airways and Iberia Avios
American Express launched this month a new limited time promotion. Eligible Amex cardholders can transfer Membership Rewards points to British Airways Executive Club Avios or Iberia Plus Avios with a 30% transfer bonus. The promotion runs through August 31, 2023. While not the best offer have seen, this is still a substantial bonus that makes award flights more affordable. Let’s see the details below.

Normally Amex Membership Rewards points transfer to British Airways Executive Club and Iberia Plus Avios at a 1:1 ratio. Right now, with the additional 30% bonus, you will receive 1,300 Avios for every 1,000 Membership Rewards points that you transfer.

As mentioned above, this is not the best offer we have seen for transferring American Express Membership Rewards points to Avios. Previous offers have been as high as 40% and 50%. But this is still a very good opportunity to extract more value from your American Express points.
