Chase has raised their referral bonuses for their Chase Sapphire Preferred and Chase Ink Plus cards to 10,000 UR points. The usual referral rate is 5,000 per referral, so this doubles the usual rate.

The total limit of points that can be earned from referrals for each card is still 50,000 bonus points per calendar year, so you can refer 5 friends to get the maximum allowed.

Now it might be a good time to apply for some Chase cards since it’s expected to become much harder to get approved in the following months. Chase has a 5 cards per 24 months rule that applies to Chase branded UR earning personal credit cards. But business cards and co-branded cards are expected to be included as well. So 5 of those cards in 24 months is very restrictive.

2. Enter Last Name, Zip and Last 4 digits of card number
3. Click Twitter as sharing option and copy referral link
