“You’re Already Approved” Green Star Offers for Chase Cards
A reader sent me a screenshot of targeted offers from Chase for select Ink Business cards. These are offers that have a green star and state that “You’re already approved”.
These types of offers have been around for years, but the wording is a bit misleading. No, you are not already approved!
What Are These Green Star Offers?
These are offers selected for you based on your relationship with Chase. The signup bonus on these offers usually matches the public bonus. They also come with a fixed APR that is already shown in the application page.
Chase says that they “look at factors you’d expect any lender/creditor to review. And we’re already able to estimate your income, know your account history, and have your credit info.”
But are you really already approved? The answer is NO.
These offers seem to give you a better chance at approval, but they don’t bypass the usual restrictions. Most likely you will not be approved if you are over 5/24. And Chase will still need to do a hard pull, even though they say you’re already approved.
One thing to keep in mind is that if you to apply for several cards, or borrowing options showing in this list, then be sure to choose the option most important to you first. Chase says that if you act on a customized borrowing option, it may change what other options are available to you.

Here you can find these green star offers, and other types of offers as well. “You’re already approved” offers should give you the best odds though.
