SoFi Checking and Savings Adding Instant Transfers
The SoFi Checking and Savings account is adding instant transfers. The new feature is already live for incoming transfers that use Federal Reserve’s FedNow, and it will soon be available for outgoing transfers as well.
SoFi shared the news via email:
“As of today, February 18, 2026, members can receive instant transfers into their SoFi Checking and Savings accounts when those transfers are initiated from an account they hold at another financial institution using the Federal Reserve’s FedNow® Service. We plan to add instant transfers out of SoFi Checking and Savings through FedNow in the coming months. We’ll let you know as soon as that functionality is available.
To support this new functionality, we’ve updated the SoFi Bank Deposit Account Agreement. These changes take effect today, February 18, 2026.”
