Redeem Bilt Points for Lyft Rides
Lyft and Bilt are expanding their partnership. Starting today, Lyft riders who link their Bilt Rewards and Lyft accounts will be able to pay for Lyft rides using their Bilt Points, giving them even more flexibility in how they ride.
Lyft is the first rideshare company to offer pay with points capability throughout this partnership with Bilt.
To start using Bilt Points for Lyft rides, users need to link their Bilt and Lyft accounts, and look for the ‘Points’ button when booking their next ride. If you don’t have a Bilt Rewards account, you can sign up here.
Bilt Members who connect their Bilt and Lyft accounts will now see a ‘Points’ button in the lower right-hand corner of the Lyft app when requesting a ride. But what value do you get when using Bilt Points on rides?
As shown in the images above, 3,000 Bilt Points with be worth $21. That gives you a value of 0.7 cents per point which is not great. The best use of these points is to transfer them to travel partners such as Hyatt and more.
