Prestige Community Credit Union has two different bonuses. One is for $150 for opening a new checking account and the other gives you only $100, but also a $100 more for the person referring you.
$150 Bonus
Must open new Payback Checking account by 5/10/19 and complete the following:
- Minimum direct deposit of $400 per month required. First direct deposit must be made within 60 days of opening the account.
$100 Bonus Plus $100 Referrals
To receive $100 each:
- The referred person must open either a new Rewards or Payback Checking account with direct deposit within 60 days, $100 will be paid when a minimum direct deposit of $400 per month is completed.
No expiration date.
Eligibility
Offer available in TX only. Must live, work or attend school within a 10 mile radius of one of their financial centers.
Fees
Payback checking account has no monthly fees.
You must keep account open for 180 days to avoid $25 early closing fee.

Decent bonuses if you’re in the eligible area. Account also earns 10¢ per debit card transaction over $0.99. If you have someone who can refer you, then the $100 bonus is the best option for a total bonus of $200. Otherwise you can just get the $150 bonus.
