New Avios Transfer Tool
If you are looking to transfer Avios between several airline programs that now use the currency, then I have some good new for you!
Transferring Avios is now much easier thanks to a new tool that makes the process quick and painless.
Avios are now used by British Airways Club, Aer Lingus AerClub, Club Iberia Plus, Finnair Plus, Qatar Airways Privilege Club and Vueling Club.
With this new tool you start by selecting the program where you want to transfer Avios from. To transfer Avios you need to make sure your name, last name, date of birth and email address match across your accounts.
After you click next you will be asked to log into the chosen account. It will also ask you to set up 2-factor authentication (2FA) if you have yet to do so.
You will then choose the program you want to transfer Avios to, and you again have to log in and possibly set up 2-factor authentication.
If accounts are linked then you can proceed with your transfer. Select the number of Avios you want to transfer and click the ‘Transfer’ button. Transfer are instant.
