Guru’s Wrap-up
This is the best offer yet for the Amex Platinum Card. You get 150,000 membership Rewards points and a $200 statement credit. Considering that the offer shows through referrals, you could also get a referral bonus of 25,000 for a friend or family member. From what I see in my accounts, you have to refer from the same card in order to see this offer.
Just keep in mind that this offer does have the lifetime language. So you are only able to earn it if you haven’t had this card in the past. That normally means about 5-7 years prior. If you’re not sure if you are eligible you can still go ahead and apply, and you will receive a pop-up if you are ineligible.
