This new offer gives you the opportunity to earn the usual 60,000 points plus you get Explorist status for around 10 months. The previous offer was better if you just want the Hyatt points, as it only required $5,000 in spend to earn 60,000 points. But this offer is probably better for those chasing status.
It’s also worth noting that if you are eligible for a Chase business credit card, then you can just apply for one of the Ink cards. You can get a better bonus, or the same amount of points for less spend. Plus Ultimate Rewards transfer to Hyatt and many other airline and hotel transfer partners.
