Citi AAdvantage Business Card Refresh?
Citi could be looking to refresh the Citi AAdvantage Business Card based on a survey that was sent out recently and reported by VFTW. The survey shows an increased annual fee of $150 (up from $99), but also some new credits that could be valuable.
Here’s what the card could look like based on the survey:
- Earn:
- 2X miles on AA purchases
- Car Rentals
- Gas
- Cable, Satellite and Telecomm
- 1X on all other purchases
- 2X miles on AA purchases
- 1X Loyalty Points per $1 spent by anyone on the account
- 1X Loyalty Points earned by authorized user per $1 spent on their card
- 4,000 Loyalty Points after 4 qualifying AA flights (up to 3x per year)
- $100 in-flight credit
- Walmart+ membership
- $120 Global Entry or TSA Precheck fee credit (every 4 years)
- $100 inKind credit
- $125 AA Flight Discount Certificate after $30K spend
- 1st checked bag free on domestic flights
- Preferred Group 5 boarding
- Travel protection benefits
- No foreign transaction fees
Guru’s Wrap-up
Just the $100 inKind credit is worth the $51 annual fee increase for me as I already use the app and I often buy $100 gift cards for $64.99 at Costco.
