Bilt Announces 2027 Program Changes
Bilt is making a number of changes in 2027, including a new Daily Rewards program, changes to how Bilt Cash expires and can be used, new elite status perks, and some updates for Bilt Card holders.
The biggest new feature is Daily Rewards, which launches January 15, 2027. Bilt says members will be able to earn rewards from both their housing payments and everyday activity with participating neighborhood partners.
Daily Rewards Launch January 15
Every on-time monthly rent or mortgage payment will earn a Daily Reward. Members can also earn one Daily Reward each day from qualifying activity with a neighborhood partner, such as a meal, fitness class or ride. Each Daily Reward reveals two rewards, and members choose one to keep.
Possible rewards include Bilt Points, Bilt Cash and collectibles that can build toward bigger prizes, including:
- $1 million toward the purchase of a home
- 10 million Bilt Points
- Free rent or mortgage for a year
- Free Lyft rides for a year
- A dream getaway
Bilt Card holders won’t lose their current housing earnings. They will continue earning Bilt Points on rent and mortgage as they do today, with Daily Rewards added on top.
Bilt Cash Changes
Bilt is also changing how Bilt Cash works. Starting in 2027, Bilt Cash will expire at the end of the month, 12 months after it was earned. That replaces the current year-end expiration structure. For example, $100 earned in February 2026 will now expire February 28, 2027.
Hotel redemptions with Bilt Cash are also changing from monthly to twice per year starting January 1, 2027.
Each redemption can be worth:
- Blue/Silver: Up to $50, or $100 per year
- Gold/Platinum: Up to $100, or $200 per year
- Eligible Palladium cardholders: Up to $200, or $400 per year
New Bilt Elite Status Benefits
Gold and Platinum members will be able to use Bilt Points at checkout for Home Away from Home hotel bookings starting in 2027, including access to eligible luxury hotel benefits.
Bilt is also adding rental car status matches:
- Platinum: SIXT ONE Platinum and Hertz President’s Circle
- Gold and Silver: SIXT ONE Gold and Hertz Five Star
Bilt Card Changes
Product upgrades are already live for eligible cardholders through the Bilt app. Then, starting on each cardholder’s card anniversary, the Bilt Card will move to a new set of benefits.
Everyone will be able to earn up to 1.25X points on rent or mortgage. Bilt is also retiring the Flexible Bilt Cash mode that earns 4% back in Bilt Cash on everyday spending.
Cardholders who want to keep Flexible Bilt Cash mode can opt out of the new benefit structure before their anniversary date.
Bilt says the regular points multipliers on everyday purchases are not changing.
Palladium and Obsidian Changes
Palladium and Obsidian cardholders will receive their annual Bilt Cash credits on their card anniversary instead of January 1. They will also continue to be able to redeem Bilt Cash for Point Accelerator under the new benefit setup.
There are also changes to the annual credits:
- Palladium: The current $200 Bilt Cash credit and $400 hotel credit become one $600 annual Bilt Cash credit
- Obsidian: The current $100 Bilt Travel Hotel credit becomes $100 in annual Bilt Cash
That Bilt Cash can be used toward eligible hotel stays or other eligible Bilt Cash redemptions.
