Chase Sapphire Bonuses Now Available Through Referrals
Chase launched two big bonuses on the Chase Sapphire Reserve and Chase Sapphire Reserve for Business yesterday. Those bonuses are 100K+$500 and 200K respectively. It also launched an improved bonus on the Chase Sapphire Preferred for 75,000 which is far from the best bonus we have seen on that card. Now all three bonuses are also available through Chase referral links (although I’m not sure if you earn a referral bonus for CSRB applications), which gives you the opportunity to earn a 15K referral bonus. Sapphire Referral Bonus
Earn up to 100,000 bonus points every year when you refer others to apply for Sapphire cards. You can receive 15,000 bonus points for each friend you refer through this Refer-A-Friend offer (up to 7), who is approved for the card. Maximum bonus points accumulation for this offer is 100,000 bonus points. If 10 or more of your friends use the referral URL within a month to apply, at Chase’s discretion you may not receive any bonus points for the friends who apply that month and are approved for the card.
Chase has made it easier for eligible cardholders to generate referral links. There’s now a new feature on the Chase website and Chase app, where you can quickly generate referrals. You can share your referrals in our Facebook Group of 5K+ members.
The value of this offer or program may result in miscellaneous income received from Chase and Chase may be required to send you, and file with the IRS, a Form 1099-MISC (Miscellaneous Information) or Form 1042-S (Foreign Person’s U.S. Source Income Subject to Withholding) for the year in which you participate and are awarded the benefits of the offer/program.
Sapphire Signup Bonuses
There are three welcome bonuses that you can generate from any of the Sapphire cards:
Chase Sapphire Preferred

Old Referrals Still Show Lower Fee
Previously generated referrals still shows a 60K bonuses for Sapphire Preferred and Sapphire Reserve. For the latter it also has a $550 annual fee instead of the higher $795 fee.
You could gamble applying for the 60K bonus with the lower fee and then hope to match to the new bonus, but I haven’t seen any positive DPs of this yet. You would also have to wait to take advantage of the new credits until October 26.
