Chase Southwest Cards Changes
Chase and Southwest Airlines are refreshing their credit card lineup. The details are showing now through referral links, although you can’t apply yet. and also directly on the website. New welcome bonuses are available through 9/17/2025.
The changes include higher annual fees on all five credit cards, new benefits, and new welcome bonuses on personal cards at least. The bonuses for the business cards have not changed, but they’re showing the the higher annual fees and new benefits. Some of the changes are not all that surprising since Southwest just announced changes to its business model recently.
Existing Southwest Rapid Rewards Cardmembers’ annual fees will be adjusted on their 2026 Anniversary date.
Southwest Rapid Rewards® Plus Credit Card
- Earn 100,000 points after you spend $4,000 in the first 5 months from account opening.
- $99 annual fee
- Offer ends 9/18/2025.
