Bluebird Axes Amex Offers, Checks and More
Bluebird recently sent out emails to Bluebird® American Express account holders to inform them of upcoming changes.
My Bluebird account was shut down long ago, but some people still have these accounts. With these changes, Bluebird cards will no longer get Amex Offers. Bluebird Checks feature will also be discontinued on and after October 8th. Check out the full email below.
We are writing to let you know that we are discontinuing the following features of your Bluebird® American Express® Account (“Bluebird Account”): Goals, Subaccounts, AMEX Offers, and Bluebird Checks.
Goals
New Goals sub-balances will not be able to be established after September 10, 2024. Existing Goals sub-balances as of this date will not be impacted and will remain fully operative.Subaccounts
New Subaccounts will not be able to be established after September 10, 2024. Existing Subaccounts (and Subaccount Cards) as of this date will not be impacted and will remain fully operative.AMEX Offers
After September 10, 2024, Bluebird Cards will no longer be eligible to participate in offers made available from time to time through the Amex Offers Program.Bluebird Checks
The Bluebird Checks feature of your Bluebird Account will be discontinued on and after October 8, 2024. Bluebird Checks written on or after this date will not be honored in any circumstance.
