I couldn’t remember the last time I wrote about Bluebird and Serve cards, so I searched and apparently it was back in August of 2016. My own cards were shutdown a few months earlier, same as many others. Now it seems there’s a new round of emails, telling people that their cards have been frozen.

Here’s the text of the email:

These prepaid cards were a great spending tool to earn rewards, but many people have long been shutdown. It seems that Amex is still going after those with “unusual usage patterns”.
Does anyone still have a functioning card?
