Another Massive Hilton Devaluation! Some Waldorf Properties Priced at 250K/Night

Another Massive Hilton Devaluation!

Another Massive Hilton Devaluation!

Hilton is increasing award prices once again and some of the top properties are getting way more expensive. Standard rooms at Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal for example have now jumped to 250,00 points per night, after increasing to 190,000 points just four months ago and 120,000 about nine months ago. The same goes for Waldorf Maldives Ithaafushi.

As reported on reddit and in the comments here, other affected properties include:

  • Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal: From 190,000 to 250,000 points/night.
  • Waldorf Maldives Ithaafushi: From 190,000 to 250,000
  • Hermitage Bay, an SLH Hotel: From 190,000 to 250,000
  • Canaves Oia Suites, an SLH Hotel: From 190,000 to 240,000
  • South Bank, an SLH Hotel: From 180,000 to 210,000
  • RiverView Ranch Retreat: From 200,000 to 220,000
  • Conrad Bora Bora: From 120,000 to 200,000
  • Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills: From 120,000 to 200,000
  • Waldorf Astoria Seychelles Platte Island: From 130,000 to 200,000
  • eriro, an SLH Hotel: From 150,000 to 200,000
  • Conrad Maldives Rangali Island: From 140,000 to 180,000

You can still use your Free Night Reward at these properties as long as there is a Standard Room Reward available. But the way things are going, I’m not sure how long it will stay that way.

Guru’s Wrap-up

Hilton has no award chart, so these devaluations with continuously happen with no prior announcement. This latest devaluation at Hilton includes price increases by as much as 30%.

Let me know if you come across any other properties that have gone up in price overnight!
