Amex Platinum Cards Revamp
American Express revealed in a press release earlier this year that a major revamp is coming for the consumer and business Platinum cards. That revamp was slated for “this fall” and then the American Express investor conference call this morning mentioned the revamp is coming in a couple of weeks.
So what do we know so far about the Amex Platinum Cards revamp? There are already some images on the site (through qwww links shared at USCF) that show $3,500 in annual value for both cards. That’s up from $1,500 for personal, and $2,000 for the business card. Check out a full list of details and benefits that have been leaked or that we have learned from credible rumors.

Guru’s Wrap-up
While these are the only changes or additions that we have learned so far, that doesn’t mean that there won’t be any other changes. We might still see other credits and perks added, removed, tweaked or replaced with something else.
Let me know what you think of these changes, and what else you hope or fear that might change.
I also posted and took down an article about a rumor that included Walmart Cash and other benefits a few days ago. But that was just a bunch of wishes/guesses from FM from earlier in the year, even before any of the new benefits leaked.
