Amex Business Platinum 250K Bonus
Until recently the Amex Business Platinum Card was offering a welcome bonus of 250,000 Membership Rewards points through select referrals. Many people were able to generate these referral links with the 250K bonus, but that ended last week. However, the 250K bonus is still available online, if you’re able to find it. Check out the details of the offer and some tips on how to look for this bonus.
Welcome Bonus Details
- Earn 250,000 Membership Rewards® points after you spend $20,000 or more on eligible purchases on your Card within your first 3 months of Card Membership starting from the approval date.
- Annual Fee: $695
How to Find This Offer?
Here are some options that you can try:
- Open this link in a chrome desktop incognito. This is a link from Google that was working for many to pull up the 170K Business Platinum previously.
- Google “amex biz platinum” and click the first non-sponsored link.
- You can also try another way that was shared in the comments for the Business Gold Card. Once you get an improved offer, just leave the page open and let it expire (takes about an hour or two). Once it expires, refresh the page and hopefully see the 250K bonus.
- Check the Amex Offers section if you’re already an Amex cardholder. You will often find elevated offers there.
If these “tricks” don’t work, then you just need to keep trying different links, referrals, browsers, locations either physically or through VPN, Wi-Fi connections etc. These methods worked for one of our Facebook Group members just a couple of days ago. I have seen a few reports of Opera browser being successful, so you might want to try that as well.
Eligibility
This offer has the lifetime language:
“You may not be eligible to receive a welcome offer if you have or have had this Card or previous versions of this Card. You also may not be eligible to receive a welcome offer based on various factors, such as your history with credit card balance transfers, your history as an American Express Card Member, the number of credit cards that you have opened and closed and other factors. If you are not eligible for a welcome offer, we will notify you prior to processing your application so you have the option to withdraw your application.”
However, you can still go ahead and apply even if you think you are not eligible. As noted in the terms, Amex will notify you prior to processing your application so you have the option to withdraw it. If you do not get the pop-up, then you will receive the welcome bonus.
What to Know About Applying for American Express Cards
Here are a few things worth noting regarding American Express credit card applications:- Amex limits you to a maximum of 5 credit cards and 10 charge cards.
- There’s normally no hard pull when you apply for a new Amex card and are not approved.
- If you already have an Amex card, then applying for more Amex cards will normally not result in a hard pull.
- You are not eligible to receive a welcome bonus on a card you’ve held in the past. This is known as the lifetime rule, but that usually applies to cards you’ve had in the last 5-7 year. Here’s how to check what cards you’ve had in that timeframe.
- American Express will let you know during the application process if you are not eligible for the welcome bonus. That means that you can always go ahead and apply for an Amex card, and then just withdraw the application if you are not eligible for the bonus.
- 90 Day Rule: You can get up to two new cards every 90 days. This rule excludes charge cards.

Guru’s Wrap-up
This is a great welcome offer for a credit card, even with the $695 annual fee. 250,000 are worth about $3,800, so you are getting over $3,000 in value even after subtracting the annual fee. But the Amex Business Platinum Card also has valuable benefits that it maximized give you considerable additional value.
If you are not able to find this Amex Business Platinum 250K bonus, then you can try calling in for this 200K offer.
