Amazon is offering Capital One cardholders a discount of 40% on items sold directly by Amazon.com. We see these Shop with Points discount for many issuers, but Capital One deals have been quite rare in recent years. This offer can come in handy during Amazon Prime Day.

You can use as little as 625 1 Capital One mile to get this 40% discount, which is capped at $20 for me at least. You might see a different offer. Check out the details of this Amazon discount for Capital One cardholders.

How It Works

This is a targeted promotion so not everyone will qualify. Eligible Capital One cardmembers can get 40% off eligible purchases when using Capital One miles for at least a portion of your purchase, up to a maximum discount of $20.

• Visit promotion page
• Click on the “Activate promotion” button to activate your promotion.
• Add eligible products sold and shipped by Amazon.com to your shopping cart.
• Apply at least 1 Capital One mile to your next order. Make sure you see the discount before paying.
• Capital One miles will be temporarily set as your payment method at checkout.

These promotions only work on items that sold and shipped by Amazon. To see only items sold and shipped by Amazon, search for whatever you’re looking to buy and then add &emi=ATVPDKIKX0DER to the end of the URL. The discount should work for third party gift cards sold on Amazon as well.
