Wyndham Rewards Annual Category Changes in 2026
Wyndham Rewards will be making its annual updates across the three free night redemption tiers on April 15, 2026. While we don’t know which properties are changing specifically, we do know some stats:
- 88% of hotels will remain in their current tier.
- 8% of hotels will move to a lower tier.
- 4% of hotels will move to a higher tier.
The seems positive with more properties moving to a lower tier than moving up. As always, if a member books a future stay at the current tier and the hotel later moves to a lower tier, the points difference will be automatically refunded. If the hotel moves to a higher tier, the original booking will be honored.
