New Virgin Red Rewards Mastercard

Virgin has opened the waitlist for its previously announced Virgin Red Rewards Mastercard® and has also shared most details about the card.
The credit card is issued by Synchrony and launching in the fall of 2024. It has a $99 annual fee and earns three Virgin Points for every $1 spent on purchases with Virgin Atlantic, Virgin Hotels and Virgin Voyages. On top of this, cardholders will earn two Virgin Points for every $1 spent on dining, at grocery stores, on select streaming services and for EV charging, and one Virgin Point for every $1 spent on anything else anywhere Mastercard is accepted. Signup Bonus
- Earn a signup bonus of 40,000 Virgin Points when you apply and get approved for the card and spend $3,000 in the first 90 days.
- Earn 2,500 Virgin Points when you add an additional user (up to four users).

The waitlist is open to residents of the 50 United States or D.C. and aged 18 or older.
Card Details
- Earn:
- 3X Virgin Points on purchases with Virgin Atlantic, Virgin Hotels and Virgin Voyages.
- 2X Virgin Points on dining, grocery stores, select streaming services and EV charging.
- 1X Virgin Points on all other purchases.
- Anniversary bonus of 5,000 Virgin Points each year upon renewal of your card
- Earn 25 Flying Club Tier Points for each $2,500 in eligible purchases (maximum 50 Tier Points per month).
- Third night free after booking two nights at a participating Virgin Hotel once a year.
- Spend $15,000 in a cardholder year to choose one or $30,000 to choose a total of two of the following:
- Virgin Atlantic: Flying Club reward voucher for a companion seat or cabin upgrade
- Virgin Hotels: One free night stay or hotel suite upgrade
- Virgin Voyages: Up to $300 Bar Tab credit or Blue Extras perks package
- No foreign transaction fees
