The United States government has announced a ban on foreign national travel for those who have been in China within the last 14 days.

The temporary ban does not apply to US citizens. If any citizens have been in the Hubei province in the last 14 days, then they will be subject to up to 14 days of mandatory quarantine upon entering the United States.

US citizens who are returning from the rest of mainland China, will undergo screenings at US ports of entry.

The ban goes into effect at 5PM ET on Sunday.

Coronavirus was also declared a health emergency in the United States today.
