Eligibility
The card falls under the Chase 5/24 rule. You will not be approved if you have 5 or more new credit cards in the last 24 months.

Guru’s Wrap-Up
50,000 miles is not as high as previous targeted offers of 75,000 and $50, But this is still an improvement over the standard offers. The annual fee is waived and you get the $100 statement credit. The offer is also public, which makes it more accessible, but I suspect that not many readers with be eligible to apply due to 5/24.
The Chase United MileagePlus Explorer card comes with a few decent perks such as free checked bags and 2 lounge passes, that give it some extra value.
