The Elegant Office Cancels Orders
American Express recently offered $100 in free spend online at thelegantoffice.com. The Amex Offers was as followes:
Get a one-time $100 statement credit by using your enrolled eligible Card to spend a minimum of $100 in one or more purchases online at theelegantoffice.com by 12/31/2023.
Clearly everyone rushed to get $100 in free stuff, even if grossly overpriced. The company then added expensive shipping fees, and then started canceling orders. Some people did get their items.
Now they sent out an email explaining why orders were canceled. One of these emails was shared in our Facebook Group by Mike. Here’s the text of the email:
