ThankYou Points Promo, Get 20% Bonus On Asia Miles Transfers

Citi ThankYou Points program has a promotion that will get you extra Asia miles when converting points.

Transfer ThankYou Points to Asia Miles and receive 20% Bonus Asia Miles. Offer is valid for Point Transfers to Asia Miles completed by 11:59 PM ET September 6, 2017.

The normal transfer rate is 1,000=1,000. With this 20% promotion it jumps to 1,000=1,200.

This is a rare bonus, but it still doesn’t make sense to transfer ThankYou points without a specific redemption in mind. A sweet spot for Asia Miles is the fact that they allow up to 5 stopovers on award flights, so these miles could be of great value if you go that route.
