SWISS has stopped releasing first class awards to partners for a few years now, reserving that award space only for its Miles & More elite frequent flyers. However, there’s now wide open availability for partner booking, if you hurry. I doubt this will last very long. What makes this a great opportunity is that fact that there’s no fuel surcharges when booking with Aeroplan miles.

SWISS flies from several major cities in the United States; Boston, Chicago, Newark, New York, Los Angeles, Miami, and San Francisco. They also fly to many destinations around the world.
You can find award space on Aeroplan.com. One-way travel between the USA and Western Europe is 70K miles in first class, with no fuel surcharges.
You can also book one-way first class on United for 110,000 miles, but Aeroplan is the way to go.

This is a rare opportunity to get a taste of SWISS first class and a great use for Aeroplan miles, especially considering the fact that Air Canada will launch its own loyalty program in 2020.
