Sunflower Bank Bonus, Get $200 with New Checking Account
Sunflower Bank has a new bonus of $200 for customers who open a checking account in-branch. The offer is available in a few states only. Let’s see how this bonus works, and who is eligible.

Offer
Customer will receive a $200 reward when they open their first personal checking account opened in-branch (offer applies to Foundation, Elevation and Pinnacle checking accounts only) and:
- complete 25 or more debit card purchases (pinned, signed, or credit), and
- have ACH credits, ACH debits, or a combination of both (e.g., Direct Deposit/Electronic Payments) totaling $500 or more that all post to the new account on or before 1/31/2024.
The account must be in an open status as of 2/1/2024 and have a positive balance at least one day between 1/1/2024–1/31/2024 to be eligible for the reward payment. Qualifying reward payment will be paid into new checking account by end of business day on 2/2/2024.
Eligibility
- Offer available in AZ, MO, NM, KS, CO, TX.
- Customers (any account owner) who currently have or previously had a personal checking account between 10/1/2022 and 10/1/2023 are not eligible for this offer.
Account Fees
- The account has no fees with statements. Paper statements $3.00 per month.
- $30 early closing fee if account is closed within 90 days.
Guru’s Wrap-Up
This bonus does not require a direct deposit, so it’s easier to do. If you are in one of the eligible states, I think it’s worth going for it. You just need to complete a $500 ACH and 25 transactions. I’m not sure if you can stack it with a referral bonus.
