Staples: No-Fee $100 Visa Gift Cards, Max 5/Day

Staples has a new promotion on Visa gift cards next week. You can buy $100 Visa gift cards with no activation fee. This is not as good as the usual promotions that we see from Staples, but it can be useful if you need to get some spending done before the end of the year. This is a good opportunity to also earn credit card rewards, especially when combined with one of the Chase Ink cards [5X Ultimate Rewards] or Amex SimplyCash Plus [5% Cashback].

Offer

No purchase fee (a $5.95 value) when you buy a $100 Visaยฎ Gift Card. See weekly ad here.

Offer Terms

  • Valid 12/25/22-12/31/22.
  • In store only.
  • Limit 5 per customer per day.
  • The Visa Gift Card is issued by Pathward

Staples Visa Gift Card Promo: Guruโ€™s Wrap-Up

This is not of the best promotions from Staples, but it can still be useful for some readers. It only applies to $100 Visa Gift Cards and there’s a limit of 5 per day. If you purchase the maximum of $500 per day, you can earn 2,500 Ultimate Rewards points using the Chase Ink Business Cash credit card for example.

  1. Ahh I just realized office depot having there normal $15 off $300 plus gift cards ends on 24 Dec. I totally must have missed the blog for that sale I really need to rack up before end of year. Doing my office depot runs today ๐Ÿ™‚

      • For sure working my wife & I hit up 7 different OD today ($5,600 in GC) between Mississippi, Alabama & Florida and all of them worked. A couple of them did not even have a signs posted and the employees were shocked when the price dropped below $400, I told them they were on sale and they had to double check with the manager before selling. I got some good laughs in today. I guess not many point gamers down south. When I was in Hawaii OD were sold out clean of all GC within the first 2-3 days of the sale. I plan to make couple more runs next to days clean out OD then ill hit up Staples next ๐Ÿ™‚

          • Its not as bad as it sounds im actually in Pcola, FL and Moss point, MS is just 1.5 hrs away with 7 x OD in-between. I also had an appt in Mobile, AL and had to go there regardless. I maximized making the extra 20 min push to MS for more OD & used that $.50 off 3-6PM gas promo at Circle-K it all worked out perfectly ๐Ÿ˜

Since my Money order game shut down a while back my go to now is Bluebird which I then use to pay my mortgages.

Today I’m local hitting up 3 more OD mutiple times with different staff shifts. The retired life building points and traveling is grand.

              • My first BB was shut down few years ago. We’re on my wife’s card now opened 2+ years ago with fingers crossed the shutdown wave does not hit us again.

Dosh is super merry giving 4% back on OD. We just received Day 1 Dosh payout $128+ (4% on $398.90, 4 times on 2 accounts + extra $1.1 for each set of $400 cards purchased)and our accounts show another $64 each pending for the OD Day 2 run, and we have one last run today beforethe sale ends. Not bad at all but the downside is having to go to Walmart during the holidays to load the BB, lines are long but I try to load $400-600 (2-3 cards) each visit and being careful if the daily and monthly BB limits, im lucky to have about 5 Walmarts in a tight circle, location is everything.
