Staples No Fee Visa Cards Promotion
Starting on Sunday 2/23, through 2/29/20, there’s a new Staples Visa Gift Card promotion. You can buy $200 Visa gift cards with no activation fee at all. That fee is normally $6.95. This is a good opportunity for free credit card rewards, especially when combined with a Chase Ink Business Plus, Chase Ink Business Cash [5X Ultimate Rewards] or Amex SimplyCash Plus [5% Cashback]. Even better if your Amex business cards have an Amex Offer that gives you 10% back on Staples purchases, up to $50.
No purchase fee (a $6.95 value) when you buy a $200 Visa® Gift Card.
- Valid 2/23 – 2/29/2020.
- In store only.
- Limit 1 per customer.
- The Visa Gift Card is issued by MetaBank
How to Maximize Profits
This is probably the best Visa Gift Card deal we have seen. Limit is 1, but you can usually do multiple transactions. Plus there’s no rebates and waiting for a gift card in the mail. But, you’re limited to $2,000 in gift card purchases every day.
So for every $200 Visa gift card you buy, you can earn 1,000 Chase UR points if you’re using your Chase Ink Plus/Cash card. You could also try a Amex SimplyCash for 5% back.
How To Liquidate Gift Cards
Visa gift cards can be liquidated by buying money orders at Walmart or at various grocery stores and other locations. The PIN is already set as the last 4 digits of the card number. The can also be used for bill pay at Walmart and Kmart. If everything else fails, you can always use them everywhere Visa is accepted and you’re still earning 5X on every purchase.
This one is probably the best promotion we see at Staples, as it involves Visa gift cards. I would suggest going to your nearest location early on Sunday because stock runs out quickly. And remember, this only applies to $200 Visa gift cards. Hopefully you have the Staples Amex Offer that can save you 10%, up to $50. Otherwise, use your Ink cards.
