Southwest Extends Schedule Through January 26
Southwest Airlines has extended its schedule through January 26, 2026, offering customers a head start to book next summer’s vacation. The extended schedule includes additional redeye flights, popular seasonal routes, and more nonstop flights.
When Southwest announces an extension to their schedule, many of their loyal fans are eager to take advantage, since it is one of the largest domestic carriers in the country. But lately, those fans might not be as excited due to Southwest’s upcoming changes.
This latest schedule extension is a little more important than usual, as you can now book travel through late January and still get two free bags. You just need to book by May 28th.
It’s worth noting that prices are usually higher when the Southwest schedule is first extended.
