Sam’s Club Now Sells Variable Load Visa Gift Cards
Sam’s Club has now begun selling variable load Visa gift cards in its stores. Until now you could only buy up to $200 Visa gift cards, whether online or at physical locations. That wasn’t a great deal since the activation fees would negate any credit card rewards that you would earn. But now, with $500 gift cards available, it gets easier to turn a profit if you have a credit card that earns 5X at wholesale clubs.
Normally that’s not an option, but cards that have 5% rotating categories will often have wholesale clubs included. This quarter for example you can earn 5% when you use a Discover it card or ABOC Platinum card. You still have time to maximize the spending on those two cards until June 30.

That’s great news ill check my Sam club today to see if they can also be reloaded at the club. Many reloadable Visa I have found are not reloadable at the place for purchase with a credit card. 1st load only but after they only do cash or expected you to link a bank account. Hopefully Sam’s reloaded is the good style that offers credit card reloading in the store.
