Rove Launches Transfer Partnership With Japan Airlines
Rove today announced a new transfer partnership with Japan Airlines (JAL) Mileage Bank, significantly expanding global redemption opportunities for its members.
This partnership marks another milestone for Rove’s following the launch of Loyalty Eligible hotel bookings. Rove is the first travel rewards program to provide a flexible way for users to earn and redeem miles without the need for a travel credit card. Users can accumulate Rove Miles by booking flights and hotels through the platform, as well as by shopping with over 13,000 partner merchants via shopping portal or browser extension.
New Partner and Transfer Bonus
Japan Airlines, Japan’s flag carrier and a member of the Oneworld alliance, operates an extensive global network with service from nine U.S. airports. Through Oneworld and additional airline partnerships, JAL provides access to flights across nearly every major international market.
With the new partnership, Rove Miles transfer to JAL Mileage Bank at a 1:1 ratio, similar to Rove’s other airline transfer partners.
But there’s a limited time promotion to celebrate the launch. Rove is offering a transfer bonus of 50% more JAL miles when converting Rove Miles through 11:59 p.m. EST on March 31st, 2026. That means that for every 1,000 Rove Miles that you transfer, you will receive 1,500 JAL miles.
Transfers from Rove to JAL take place each day at 6 p.m. JST. This means if you transfer at, say, 1:00 p.m. JST your transfers will be same-day, while if you do it at 7:00 p.m. JST you’ll need to wait 23 hours for your miles to post.
