Redeem Flying Blue Miles On Air Tahiti

The Air France Flying Blue program has added a new partner. You can now use Flying Blue miles to book flights with Air Tahiti on flights marketed and operated as Air Tahiti (VT). This is a different airline from the flag carrier of French Polynesia, Air Tahiti Nui.

Air Tahiti is an airline based in French Polynesia, with its main hub at Faa’a International Airport. Air Tahiti covers a network of 47 destinations in French Polynesia, including the popular Bora Bora Airport. They also fly to Rarotonga International Airport in the Cook Islands.

The number of miles required to book your flight depends on your destination and travel dates. But it looks like it’s mostly 15,000 miles plus taxes and fees for one-way flights within French Polynesia and 30,000 for flights to Cook Islands.

Those award prices will get you a value of more than 1 cent per mile, but probably not supersized value.

How it Works

  • Book your reward ticket via airfrance.com or Flying Blue Customer Service.
  • Search for flights with Air Tahiti under “Book with Miles”.
  • See available flights and their Miles prices.
  • Confirm and book your ticket easily.

Air Tahiti flights can only be booked via Air France, as there is no interline agreement with KLM. Reward tickets must be issued on Air France 057-ticket stock. You can find more details here.
