Using Chase Ultimate Rewards for gift cards is not the best idea. You can get more value when you redeem for travel, transfer points to travel partners, or through Pay Yourself Back. But it could make sense if you only have a small amount of points, or are considering cashing them out at 1 cent each. Apple is probably the best option.
