IHG Rewards Club has a promotion running until November 16th where you can receive up to 100% bonus points after your purchase.
You need to purchase at least 16,000 points, in order to get the 100% bonus. The promo is maxed out at 60,000 points, where you would get a 100% bonus of 60,000 points at a total cost of $690. You are purchasing points at a price of 0.575 cents per point which is an OK deal, but could be useful if you have a redemption coming and you need extra points.
Don’t max out this offer just to cllect points. Only buy amounts that you know you’ll need in the near future and that will give you a good value. Besides deals you can get at some amazing hotels, IHG also has a Point Break hotels list for 5,000 points a night. That list should be coming out soon and those award nights would cost you $28.75.
Also keep in mind that if you have the IHG Rewards Club Select Credit Card you get a 10% refund on award redemptions, up to 100,000 points back each year. That would bring the cost of these points to about 0.52 cents a piece.
