Bank of America to drop U.S. Trust and Merrill Lynch names, rebrand wealth unit as just ‘Merrill’

Bank of America is expected to announce Monday that it will gradually retire the U.S. Trust brand to become the Bank of America Private Bank, according to people familiar with the change. The company will also no longer use the Merrill Lynch brand for its investment banking, global markets and capital markets group. Read more here.

Scary video of British Airways flight attempting to land amid strong winds

The video shows a British Airways flight that was forced to divert from its planned course after encountering strong gusts off the coast of southern Europe on Monday. Flight BA492 was scheduled to take off from London Heathrow airport at 8:25 a.m. and land in the British overseas territory of Gibraltar at 12:20 p.m. Warning, the embedded video contains offensive language.
