Gymboree’s second bankruptcy will kill the brand
The children’s clothing retailer filed for bankruptcy for the second time in less than two years late Wednesday. This bankruptcy will bring about the end of its flagship brand. Gymboree Group said it plans to start closing all of its Gymboree and Crazy 8 branded stores, according to the filing. That’s about 800 stores. Read more here.

Amalgamated Bank of Chicago is a smaller issuer, but this no annual fee, cash back card with rotating categories is very competitive and was launched in 2017. The Platinum Rewards card has gone under some retooling this year and they added the rotating 5X categories. Read more here.
