New Chase Sapphire Reserve Card Details Officially Revealed
Chase revealed today the full details of the new new Chase Sapphire Reserve Card. It confirms about everything hat we already knew, including the $300 travel credit which remains. The new card will launch on June 23rd, but benefits for existing cardholders will be updated on October 26. Take a look at he details.
Important Dates
The new Chase Sapphire Reserve Card will launch on June 23, 2025.
If you’re an existing cardmember or applied for the card prior to June 23, 2025, your benefits and annual fee will remain unchanged through October 25, 2025.
As of October 26, 2025, you will get an additional $1,500+ in annual value with your Sapphire Reserve card. After this date, on your anniversary, your annual fee will adjust to $795 and each authorized user fee to $195.
Eligibility
A welcome change is that cardholders can now hold the Sapphire Reserve and Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card at the same time, TPG reports.
Chase is also rolling out new technology to inform would-be applicants “if they are not eligible for a bonus offer and given the choice to continue the application or cancel the application with no impact to their credit score.” This is similar to what American Express offers for new applicants.

- Primary cardholder: $795 (up from $550)
- Authorized users: $195 (up from $75)

- $500 The Edit by Chase Credit: $250 in statement credits from January 1 through June 30 and up to $250 from July 1 through December 31 each calendar year. Qualifying purchases are when you or an authorized user of the account use the card for pre-paid “Pay Now” stays of 2 nights or more.
- $300 Dining credit via Sapphire Reserve Tables ($150 semi-annual)
- $300 StubHub credit ($150 semi-annual)
- $300 DoorDash credit via $25/month
- $120 DoorDash membership
- Complimentary Apple TV+ and Apple Music
- $120 Lyft credit via $10/month
- $120 Peloton credit via 10x $10/month
- Complimentary IHG® Platinum Elite status until December 21, 2027
