You can easily match to and experience Gold or Platinum Tier Status in MGM Rewards for 90 days. You also have the chance to extend your status through January 2028 with , with qualifying spend. Offer Details
Visit any MGM Rewards desk in-person and present a valid, current year VIP status loyalty card for an eligible competitor program, along with your valid government-issued photo identification. Once approved, you will receive an instant 90-day upgrade to Gold or Platinum, based on your current status with another eligible casino loyalty program. Once you’ve received your Status Match upgrade, you’re automatically enrolled in the Challenge. Complete the Challenge requirements to extend your Status Match through January 31, 2028.
- Challenge requirements for Gold: Earn an additional 50,000 Tier Credits on certain eligible spend within 90 days of your Status Match.
- Challenge requirements for Platinum: Earn an additional 150,000 Tier Credits on certain eligible spend within 90 days of your Status Match.

Important Terms
- Promotion is valid for all new and existing Sapphire, Pearl and Gold MGM Rewards members with elite status in a competitor’s eligible casino loyalty program.
- A current year VIP status loyalty card for an eligible competitor program is required. The name on the loyalty card must match your valid government-issued photo identification.
- Tier Credits earned as a statement credit through your MGM Rewards Mastercard do not count towards Challenge requirements.
- Additionally, Tier Credits earned through BetMGM (both online and at physical BetMGM Sportsbooks) do not qualify towards earning an Accelerator Tier Credit bonus.
- As a reminder, taxes, gratuities, and complimentary redemptions are never eligible to earn Tier Credits.
- During the applicable Tier Status Earning Year, members must earn 75,000 Tier Credits to be eligible to receive the Gold Tier Celebration Credit and 200,000 Tier Credits to be eligible to receive the Platinum Tier Celebration Credit, Air Travel Credit and Annual Cruise Benefit.

MGM Rewards’ Status Match Challenge is a good opportunity for members to fast-track their way into elite status. Once you present a loyalty card for an eligible program, you get MGM Rewards Gold or Platinum Tier Status.
MGM Gold members get waived resort fees, priority check-in and room upgrades. MGM Platinum members also get priority line access, 30% bonus on SLOT DOLLARS and late check-out.
However, you do not get some of the most coveted benefits through a Status Match upgrade or successfully completing the Status Match Challenge. During the applicable Tier Status Earning Year, you still must earn 75,000 Tier Credits to be eligible to receive the Gold Tier Celebration Credit and 200,000 Tier Credits to be eligible to receive the Platinum Tier Celebration Credit, Air Travel Credit and Annual Cruise Benefit.
